When in Rome

I've been in Rome for a day and a half and so far I've eaten gilato (two different times) tiramisu, pizza (also two different times), ravioli, white and red wine; and gone to mass at St. Peter's Basilica.
Someone please wake me from this dream.....wait, no, I don't want to wake up....

It’s official, for Spring Break I will be going to Rome, Italy, Nice, France, and Munich, Germany. A couple of my goals for my destinations entail attending mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, soaking up the sun in Nice, staying with an old friend in Munich, who will also be coming with us to Rome. It will be a nice relief from school work too. I am hoping that all of my stress will evade for two weeks, although I know traveling in itself is stressful. Here are some more pictures for you all......:)
…..they are from the trip to the North. There’s the Dunluce Castle, and Giant’s Causeway. The really close up picture of the rock is part of the Giant's Causeway where people shoved money in between the rocks for good luck. It was kind of a misty day, but it wasn't bad at all really.

Northern Ireland Condensed Into One Blog Entry, but more pics to come

I'm sorry everyone for not updating for a while. I've been busy and I'm about to get busy again therefore when I post these pictures there may or may not be a brief vague description of what I post.

Our group did many things packed into one week in Northern Ireland. It was a lot to take in but here are some pictures of Derry. The murals are dedicated to the outrageous of the battles and violence that has occurred throughout the years in the city. Some of the pictures also depict the prevalent British rule. However that in turn is the direct source of the battles and violence in which Northern Ireland has fallen victim to.  The gloomy overcast weather was fitting for the day. There is a lot of history in Northern Ireland, forgive me for not going into extensive detail about these images. I did take pictures of the signs and plaques in and around the murals and such, sorry they are not really in order. These are taken in and around Derry. Enjoy!
